About the KCAOverviewThe Kansai Canadian Association (KCA) is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Based in Osaka, Japan since 1994, the aim of the KCA is to allow people to develop friendly relations between Canada and Japan. The KCA operates in the Kansai region of Japan, which includes Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto -- the cultural heartland of Japan. It offers a range of social events and opportunities to network. It is led by a volunteer executive committee of about a dozen people which are elected annually at its AGM (usually held every January). There are between 80 and 130 families and individuals as members. MembershipAll KCA events are open to members and non-members, so if you have a friend who is thinking about joining the KCA, or just interested in attending one party, please invite them to the next function. Membership is 3,000 yen for one year from the date of enrollment and students are offered a special rate! Renew your membership within 6 months of expiration and save 1,000 yen (500 yen for full-time students). Membership is open to people of all nationalities who share the KCA's purpose and support its mission. The KCA EventsWhat are the KCA Events?
