The Kansai Canadian Association

President's message

The Kansai Canadian Association (KCA)

Welcome to our KCA website. This is an update for 2010. This year, we are pleased to offer our regular events – spring picnic, Thanksgiving Dinner, Polar Bear Swim and New Year’s Party. The club has discontinued its pub night for the time being. For a summer event, please join the KCBA summer party at on July 7th at the Osaka Hilton. (Watch our website for details!)

Coming up for the Thanksgiving Event, we are expecting 100 people so if you would like to attend, please register before the deadline to ensure your space. We will have some special prizes as well at this event.

Whether you are a veteran Canadian of 20 years in Japan or are a newcoming Canadian here on a one year contract, the KCA welcomes you. We have also many Japanese members who have an interest in Canada or have lived in Canada for study, working holidays, etc. If you are of another nationality and would like to attend an event, please feel free, we usually have a sprinkling of people from around the world attend.

The KCA keeps in close contact with other area Canadian organizations, in particular, the Japan Canada Kai (JCK), and the Kansai Canada Business Association (KCBA). We will do our best to pass on information on these associations’ events through our newsletters, e-mails and word of mouth.

If you would like to become a member, please refer to our registration page on our website or contact any of the executive or contact me directly at president@kansaicanada.com.

Kind regards,
Marlene O'Kane, KCA President
